.. and will continue to be until June, I guess.
But since I hijacked Arvin's PC, might as well do an update on this blog.
.*~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~*.
So after being quiet for gawd knows how long, I present to you a big chunk of nothingness and randomness!
1. Meet my newly baptized camera, Jin.
Huh? No, I didn't name him after Jin-sama. No. *coughyeahcoughright* Really. It's because Jin in Japanese means "silver", but instead of spelling it as Gin (which reminds me of big bellied drunkards on our street) I spelled it out as Jin which reminds me of nicer *kya!* things.. That's the reason! *uh huh!* Fine! Moving on!
Anyway, it took a surprising amount of okane to send him to a camera clinic in good 'ol Quiapo. They replaced some stuff inside him, waited for about an hour or so and viola! No more white stripes when I take pictures in daylight! He took a big chunk of my summer money but at least I got my camera back. I can use him now for whatever purpose! *insert evil laugh here*
Jin's generic picture. He doesn't do self portraits.I'm addicted to macro shots at the moment.Mang Rico fixed my camera in a jiffy.
Code name: "That's My Boy, Kilabot ng Quiapo"
^____^ vWe went to San Juan Batangas to look for a resort that fits the team's budget and Jin was put to the test. Here are some of the photos I was able to take with him.. =)
Suteki, ne? Not bad for a 3.2 mp camera. A Nikon D40 or a Canon 350D is still on the top of my wish list this year but for now, Jin will do..
*glomps Jin*2. Kochira wa Hime desu, atashi no PSP desu. This is Hime, my PSP.She's a previously owned PSP. Arvin, as you might know, works in Starbucks and has come in contact with different sorts of people. One of them is a teacher who likes to play magic cards (Magic: The Gathering) when with friends and Yu-Gi-Oh on his PSP when he's alone. (He doesn't like card games, believe me!) He offered his PSP for sale, assured that it's working well and the rest is... ja ja ja jannnnnn.. :D
Super up close and personal with Hime.
And yeah, that's my girl Yoko from TTGL at the BG. :DMy brother and his girlfriend, Joanna, giving Hime a try..
She's addictive, ne? I am so addicted to Patapon and to Tenchu right now. Haven't played anything significant yet but I already have Monster Hunter 2 in it. Too bad
Lio-kun messed with his PSP and somehow unHacked it (if that is the term.. xD). Tsk tsk, we could've crammed ourselves again in PVP's 3-seater but the only difference is you can't tease me anymore about being out of place since I already have Hime.. :p Hurry back, Lio! Wait for me, Beanskie! ^__^
3. Black, finally! :DOne more happy news but this one is about Arvin. He's been working in Starbucks for almost two years now and I am very pleased to say that he was finally given a chance to be a black apron wearing barrista. =)
Coffee Master Kuma-kun.. =)
Yeah, he's a coffee master now. Banzai! Quick, ask him about coffee pairings and flavor and ask him to do your drink. He's in Sbux Petron Dasmariñas Village, Makati. Near Dusit Hotel, ahahaha.. xD *feels like a super proud Mom*
PS. The bear in the picture is not wearing a coffee master's apron. Just a Black Apron, an Sbux coffee. The coffee master apron has "Coffee Master" with a coffee leaf design in front. And I am actually quite serious about the asking stuff, coffee masters are the one you can ask anything about coffee in any sbux store.. ^__^
Teeheeeheee, so there.. Updates of some sort on this blog. I might be posting something else later. Once I get the time and a DSL connection to do it.. ^__^
I miss everybody! ^0^/"/
